Spring Haven Mansion Wedding - Kara and Keith

I was so fortunate to be able to photograph Kara and Keith’s wedding on 5/22/21 at Spring Haven Mansion. Spring Haven is located just outside of Nashville in Hendersonville, TN and was President Andrew Jackson’s physician’s home. The original house on the property was built 1800 and the location is beautiful. Besides the historic homes on the property there are very large old trees and a stream winding through grounds. The grounds is what drew Kara and Keith to the venue and I can see why!

From our first consultation I knew that I was going to love Kara and Keith. They are such genuine and kind people that you can’t help but feel like you’ve known them for a long time. You could tell that everyone there felt that connection with them as well. Their family and friends were obviously the most important part of their day and that was reflected in little ways throughout the day. Kara’s parents’ wedding decor contained ivy that they took and planted at their home. Some of that ivy was used in the decor at Kara and Keith’s wedding. The wedding was officiated by Kara’s friend from midwifery school and it was beautiful and completely customized to the couple. The whole day was lovely and perfect.
