Playful Urban Summer Wedding at Cannery - Shannon & Cody

Shannon and Cody met at wedding...a wedding that they were both working at. Cody worked for the catering company and Shannon was the planner at the venue. After that wedding, Cody kept asking when they would be catering at that venue again so that he could see Shannon once more and on Friday I got to photograph them at their own wedding. 

Not only did I get to photograph them with their adorable dog, Rory (yes, a Gilmore Girl reference), but they quite possibly had the most entertaining reception ever. Unbeknownst to Shannon and Cody their reception kicked off to "Shannonegains" which was a boisterous lip-syncing rendition by her family of "One Day More". There was a grand total of I think 5 sing-a-longs including all 8 minutes of Meatloaf's "Paradise by the Dashboard Light". The night ended with the couple leaving on a golf cart. It was awesome!
