CHD Warrior - 1 Year Old Baby Session

Since we are all stuck at home doing the quarantine thing, I want to introduce you to someone that I am staying in for. Meet Luke, a beautiful boy that was born with a heart defect. Both of his parents work in the event industry so I’ve known them for quite sometime. Last year for Luke’s 1 year birthday, we did a in home portrait session to celebrate this incredible little warrior. Luke has CHD. You can learn more about it at Bright Heart Foundation’s website. Remember that our social “sacrifice” is protecting those like Luke!

“CHD currently affects about 40,000 newborns in the United States each year. Of those births, 25% have a critical CHD, which generally requires surgery or other procedures in their first year of life. CHD is a lifelong battle for many children as there currently is no cure.”
