Brand Photography - Kristin Kaplan

Kristin Kaplan is one of my all time favorite people so when she asked me to do some brand photography for her, I was more than happy to do it. The wonderful thing about a branding session is how much marketing and social media content you can get in just a couple of hours all by just changing clothes, props, and camera angles. Branding and live event marketing photography are some of my favorites because it’s like a puzzle. I have to find the best light, the best angle, and the photograph has to advertise who you are or what you do without you having to add a caption. How I can most accurately promote this person or what they are selling is in the forefront of my mind during the shoot. I’m always looking for that hero shot and when it’s a live event and I can’t press the pause button, it’s even more challenging which makes it even more exciting.
