There are families you photograph once. And then there are families you get to grow with.
What keeps me coming back to this work is something I didn't fully expect when I started — the community. The same families showing up at each other's celebrations year after year. Watching kids who were in the background of one Mitzvah step into the center of their own. Being trusted with that continuity is something I don't take lightly.
A Mitzvah has a structure and a rhythm I know well — the aliyahs, the presentation of the tallit, the Torah processional. That familiarity means I'm never scrambling to figure out what comes next. I'm focused entirely on capturing how it feels for your family, in this moment, on this specific day.
